All positions are unpaid and part-time (maximum of 20 hours per week).
We are accepting on a rolling basis until each position is filled.
Assist with event planning and logistics
Create communications, including solicitation and acknowledgement letters
Provide general administrative support the fundraising committee and the broader NOAF team as needed
Develop and execute social media strategy on various platforms
(i.e. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)
Create visual assets including social media graphics and print materials
Support the communications team and the broader NOAF team as needed, including event support, fundraising, and advocacy projects
Special Events Intern
Work with the fundraising committee to support events focused on raising awareness, building community, and fundraising
Identify new pathways for event promotion in the community
Assist with recruitment and email blasts
All internship projects require different skills and expertise, but the qualifications below enumerate general qualities and skills that we look for in all candidates:
Demonstrated interest in promoting a progressive vision rooted in the NOAF's mission and core values that center equity
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working in a remote environment
Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office
Able to work independently, as well as on teams, and to see projects through to completion
Display a positive attitude, show concern for people and community, demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense and good listening ability
