All positions are unpaid and part-time (maximum of 20 hours per week).
We are accepting on a rolling basis until each position is filled.

Fundraising Intern

  • Assist with event planning and logistics

  • Create communications, including solicitation and acknowledgement letters

  • Provide general administrative support the fundraising committee and the broader NOAF team as needed

Communications Intern

  • Develop and execute social media strategy on various platforms
    (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)

  • Create visual assets including social media graphics and print materials

  • Support the communications team and the broader NOAF team as needed, including event support, fundraising, and advocacy projects

Special Events Intern

  • Work with the fundraising committee to support events focused on raising awareness, building community, and fundraising

  • Identify new pathways for event promotion in the community

  • Assist with recruitment and email blasts

All internship projects require different skills and expertise, but the qualifications below enumerate general qualities and skills that we look for in all candidates:

  • Demonstrated interest in promoting a progressive vision rooted in the NOAF's mission and core values that center equity

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a remote environment

  • Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office

  • Able to work independently, as well as on teams, and to see projects through to completion

  • Display a positive attitude, show concern for people and community, demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense and good listening ability
