Thank you for considering NOAF
Abortion care in Louisiana has always been difficult to access due to regressive state and federal laws that prohibit insurance coverage, and unnecessary restrictions that have left us with only three remaining clinics in our state.
So when it comes to accessing abortion care,
Louisiana women often rely on their community.
Local abortion funds, comprised of community volunteers and supporters, provide compassionate support and critical resources to those trying to access abortion care.
Here in Louisiana, since 2012 the New Orleans Abortion Fund has:
Operated our coldline for more than 2,200 days
Volunteered over 3,000 hours as clinic escorts
Provided financial assistance to over 1,200 callers
Louisianans put off paying rent, buy fewer groceries, and borrow money from their family to get to their appointments. This shouldn’t be the reality; but the New Orleans Abortion Fund is committed to helping our clients navigate the unnecessary financial and logistical barriers to abortion access.
We're dedicated to our community,
and we aren’t going anywhere.
Give the gift of resistance by donating today - your dollars will help Louisiana women get the healthcare they want and deserve.
